My junk mail is increasing at a ridiculous rate

I use Outlook and have tried to block the junk emails that come through and I use Norton as well trying to block the ever increasing junk mail I am receiving. Is there another way to filter/block these before they reach my Outlook so I don't spend so much time trying to combat them? If not, I will be forced to go to a different service that offers this filtering.
