IMAP Email Setup: K-9 Mail- Android

If you aren't sure of the difference between POP and IMAP and why you would use one or the other, please click here.

1. A welcome screen will pull up with K-9 Features. Click Next
   
   
   
   
2. Choose IMAP
   
   
   
   
3. Input your email address and password, click Manual Setup:
   
   
   
   
4. Input:
   
   IMAP server: imap.homestead.com
   Security: SSL/TLS
   Port: 993
   Username: full email address
   Authentication: Normal password
   Password
   
   Click Next
   
   
   
   
   
5. Input SMTP server: smtp.homestead.com
   Security: SSL/TLS
   Port: 465
   Username: full email address
   Authentication: Normal password
   Password
   
   Click Next
   
   
   
   
6. Set preferences and click Next:
   
   
   
   
7. Input your preferences and click Done:
   
   
   
   
8. You can now see your email in the K-9 Mail App!
