Having trouble setting up email in outlook

I am having trouble setting up my Malvernadvisors.com account with Microsoft outlook. I have been linked to outlook for a number of years but recently I have been shut down and when I try to reset, even deleting the email from Outlook entirely and starting over, it will not take the IMAP and SMTP set up of Homestead.com. Can you help me.

Try this. It just worked for me, finally:

Set up your account

  1. Enter your email address and select Advanced options.
  2. Check Let me set up my account manually and select Connect.
  3. Choose IMAP as the account type.
  4. Enter the following IMAP settings for your email provider:
    • Incoming mail server: imap.your-email-provider.com       (imap.homestead.com)
    • Port: 993
    • Encryption method: SSL/TLS
  5. Enter the following SMTP settings for your email provider:
    • Outgoing mail server: smtp.your-email-provider.com      (smtp.homestead.com)
    • Port: 587
    • Encryption method: STARTTLS
  6. Enter your email account password and select Connect.
