WebsiteBuilder – Error 1001 / Domain Association Broken

My domain is www.adventbeers.com and my WebsiteBuilder site is beeradvent.homesteadcloud.com.

The WebsiteBuilder site itself works normally, but adventbeers.com gives Cloudflare Error 1001 – DNS Resolution Error.

In Homestead Domain Manager, the domain shows as associated with the beeradvent site. However, homesteadssl.com says “Domain can’t be verified as it doesn’t exist on builder.”

I have already:

  • confirmed the domain is associated with beeradvent
  • republished the WebsiteBuilder site
  • refreshed the website name/address through Rename
  • removed the old wildcard * A record
  • confirmed nameservers are ns3.homestead.com and ns4.homestead.com

The current A records for @ and www are both 66.235.200.24.

It appears the domain/WebsiteBuilder association or SSL provisioning is broken on Homestead’s side. Can a Homestead employee please re-associate the domain with the WebsiteBuilder site and/or re-provision the SSL certificate?

Thank you.

MAKE YOUR WEBSITE SECURE:
When attempting to logon, did you get a message that your site is not secure or 1001 error code.

Did you recently add Cloudflare? Most likely, you tried to add Cloudflare to secure your website and you've failed to set up the DNS record as directed. Review the platform options below and review your installation to ensure it's correct.
