Question About Unusual Site Setting and Advanced Domain Settings
Hello Homestead Support,
I’m contacting you because I recently reviewed the settings for my Homestead website and noticed something unusual that I would like you to investigate.
In my account/settings, there is a field labeled “Site” that contains the following value:
afdgbadfbafdb
I did not enter this value, and I do not recognize it. I would like to know what this value represents, why it is associated with my website/account, and whether it is something that should be there.
I also reviewed the Advanced Settings and domain-related settings and would like you to verify that everything is configured correctly for my website and domain. I have not intentionally changed any of these settings beyond the normal website configuration.
One important clarification: I do not use Homestead for email hosting. I use Gmail for my email. Therefore, I am primarily concerned with my website hosting, domain configuration, and the settings associated with the website itself.
Could you please:
- Explain what the “Site” value
afdgbadfbafdbis and why it appears in my account. - Confirm that my website and domain are correctly configured and securely associated with my account.
- Review the relevant advanced/domain settings and let me know if anything appears incorrect, unusual, or needs to be changed.
- Confirm that there is no issue with my website hosting or domain as a result of this setting.
I can provide screenshots of the settings if needed.
Thank you for your help. I would appreciate a clear explanation of what this unusual Site value represents before I make any further changes.
Best regards,
Alan Weatherston

According to Google:
T
afdgbadfbafdb.homesteadcloud.com. [1, 2]yourdomain.com), your visitors will see your real domain, not this random string of letters. [1]0
