The "This site can't be reached" error means your browser cannot find or connect to your website's server. [1, 2]
To get your site back online quickly, verify these specific items:
  • Check your connection: Restart your Wi-Fi router to clear local network glitches.
  • Clear your browser: Delete your cache and cookies, or test your site in an Incognito/Private window.
  • Verify your domain/hosting status: Ensure your domain registration hasn't expired and your hosting plan is active. If you use a website builder, log into your account to confirm your site is actively published. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
Troubleshooting Steps from WordPress.org and Wix
WordPress users and Wix users agree that clearing your browser cache and verifying your hosting connection are key first steps. [1]

“The message "This site can't be reached" comes from the calling browser because it cannot reach the website. This could be caused by: Accessibility problems with the host, Plugins.”

“Is your site published? Make sure that the site your domain is connected to is indeed published. You can check this on your site's dashboard.”

    Hello Good Day!

We’re sorry to hear that you’re experiencing an error when accessing your website.

The issue is due to an expired SSL certificate, but no need to worry we have already reinstalled it for you. As part of the SSL troubleshooting and installation, changes were made to the DNS records, so we’ll need to allow time for the propagation period to complete.

Please revisit your site within 1–2 hours to confirm that everything is working properly.

    Thank you.

Mine is saying the same thing! Do you need to reinstall for each website individually?

    Hello @beverly_charriere_mason,

Thank you for reaching out. Since your website is built using SiteBuilder Plus, we will need to create a Cloudflare account on your behalf in order to add an SSL certificate and secure your website.

During this process, you may receive email notifications from Cloudflare. If you do, please disregard them, as they are related to the security setup we are performing for your website.

Once the setup is complete, please allow 24-48 hours for DNS and SSL propagation. In many cases, the website becomes secure much sooner, but it can take up to that timeframe for the SSL certificate to be fully recognized across all networks.

We appreciate your patience while the changes take effect. If you have any questions or need assistance during the propagation period, please don't hesitate to reach out. We're happy to help.

    Thank you! 😊

    Hi,

Thank you for reaching out. I checked both websites and was able to access them successfully using both Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge. From our end, the websites appear to be loading and functioning normally.

If you're still unable to access the sites, the issue may be related to cached data stored in your browser. I recommend clearing your browser's cache and cookies, then closing and reopening the browser before trying again.

Please see the screenshots below for reference:

    Google Chrome

    Microsoft Edge

If the issue persists after clearing your cache and cookies, please let us know what error message you're seeing, and we'll be happy to investigate further.

Thank you, and we're here to help! 😊
