How do I obtain a CSR

After I thought  I completed my SSL certification my domain host is asking for the following:

Your web hosting provider must generate the CSR for your SSL Certificate. Contact your hosting provider's Network Administrator and ask them to:

1. Generate a CSR for you.
2. Identify the software platform and version of the web server
