Contact Us requests not coming through

I've done two test requests through my Contact Us link and I am not receiving them. Why, and how is this remedied?

Although I don't receive much traffic on my site, I have in the past, received requests through the Contact Us link.  Yesterday 3/10/26, I removed my email and phone number from my site because I've been receiving A LOT of spam emails and texts, specifically referring to my website, that I believe are originating from my website. I would doubt the removal of this information would impact the Contact Us link?

I am not a techie, so not sure I will understand techie language, but will try.

TIA

To link your email to a Homestead contact page, use the WebsiteBuilder to add a "Form" element, then open its settings to configure the recipient email address. Alternatively, create a hyperlinked "mailto:youremail@example.com" link on text or buttons to open the user's email client directly.
