Why is site I manage now requiring a password for me and anyone else trying to visit?

Me nor any of our other regular visitors can log in now without a password?

Go to page setting, scroll down to pass word and remove password.

no problem --sure keeps doing it and I asked for help but the with blamed my browser and everything else. So I went digging.
