Password protect

On my index (home page) under advanced page settings, the password keeps appearing even though I delete it. I kept deleting, saving and publishing. Then for some reason, it appears again.

When I go to my actual webpage, it requests a password even though I have removed it.

The problem is that the public is now not able to view my webpage (unless they have my password).
