Community: Create a Private Conversation

The community is meant to be public, to allow the content and ideas that are shared to benefit everyone. We do recognize that sometimes you may want or need to give or receive information that should be private. So here is how to create a private topic. If you make it private, then only you and Homestead employees will be able to see the content.

1. From the community homepage, use the indicated box to post a question or start a conversation.
   
   
   
2. Click on the type of post you are creating and fill out the applicable fields.
   
   
3. Fill in your question and mark the indicated box for privacy.
   
   
   
   
4. Once filled out, click post.
