When I accessed SiteBuilder today I got a popup that said there was something wrong with my log in. After the 3rd try, it let me log on, but I noticed it logged me on as "offline." When I went to publish my changes another pop up came up that says, "Internet Connection Required...you may have software that prevents SiteBuilder from connecting to the internet." It gives me three choices: "Proxy" "Connect" and "Stay Offline." When I click on "Connect" the same box comes up again.

I haven't installed any new software since the last time I published something but I did move a bunch of stuff to hard drive. Does anyone know what might be going on?

Hi Charmagne,
Homestead is currently migrating accounts to a new, faster and more secure data center. Some customers are unable to access Sitebuilder desktop. SiteBuilder Plus has been relatively unaffected by the move. You might consider switching to it at least temporarily. Homestead has assured us they are working as quickly as possible to make the transition to the new center and get the accounts back online, but the original estimate was 2-3 weeks for the transition and we're a week into it now.

Hi Charmagne9970,

Susan is correct. You may have better luck using Sitebuilder Plus for the time being. I was able to bring up your sites there. You can make needed edits there and then switch back when possible.

I just experienced the same problem. That's rather inconvenient to say the least. Because I'm in the middel of job application procedures and people are looking at my site to get information! I can not afford to let this sitiuation last for a week or so. http://gabydenheld.homestead.com/

Gaby den Held,

Try it again. It looks like we did have a network hiccup for a couple minutes.

Ah, That was the reason. It's working again!

Well, there must be another 'network hiccup', because - again - I can't reach my Homepage and can't login into Homestead.

Gaby den Held,

There was an outage at another company that was affecting some internet traffic to Homestead and other sites. I came back online a few minutes ago, so take a look now.

I too need to make important changes to my site!  It's been a solid week since I've been able to get into it!  This is absolutely ridiculous!!!!!!!  I cannot use Sitebuilder Plus because my sites are TOO BIG for it!!

Jon8082,

When did you last try? I just brought your largest site up in Plus. Give it a try.

I was able to get into Sitebuilder Plus this morning.  It was not allowing all my pages to load, but magically did.   I prefer the regular Sitebuilder.
