Homestead recently implemented a new spam filter which has had some repercussions. Many customers are experiencing slowness and delivery problems due to an unusual amount of spam. In addition some customer email accounts are not showing up on the Email Manager screen. Our email admins are working diligently to fix the problem and possibly integrate a different spam filter.

We recognize the importance of your email and the impact that it may have on your business. Since we do not yet have an ETA you may wish to consider setting up an email account through Zoho Mail See Instructions.

We are terribly sorry for the inconvenience this may be causing and we will report any updates on this situation as information becomes available.

September 25, 2013 8:50am MST - Estimated ETA for email resolution.

We have been notified that we will are having some brand new email servers built with an improved spam filter and sent to us via overnight delivery. It will take some time to get the new servers installed and configured as well as get any remaining black lists issues resolved. Since this is a major upgrade there are numerous complexities and licensing issues we are dealing with. Therefore we still do not have a definitive ETA. We hope to have more details later today.

September 26, 2013, 8:00am MST - Fix for outgoing email.

We now have the outgoing email routed through different servers which use different IP addresses and are not blacklisted. You will notice major improvements for sending email. We are still working on incoming spam filtering, and hope to have that resolved soon also.

We apologize for the continued issues with the email service . We are still working on getting full functionality restored. At this time we are waiting for a status update from our email admins and will notify you of the status and any progress as soon as we have more information

We have been notified by our email admins that the final solution should be in place by Monday or Tuesday (Oct. 7 or 8) at the latest. They are continuing to work on the configuration, spam filter and blacklists.
