How do I password protect a page. Others have asked but the response was not correct - there was not a field to enter the password when clicking on page settings then advance

Hi Betty7137,

Sorry for the delay & confusion -

If you don't see the password field, click on page Settings > Background and select the option for "Set for only this page" and then you'll see the password field under Page Settings > Advanced.

Let me know if i can offer further assistance, thanks.

Using what tool? I see no such tool options in either sitebuilder lite and sitebuilder full. Please update this to match the current program buttons and features. There is a Page Properties in sitebuilder full. Only Page info in sitebuilder lite and that does not have it. I actually have a password on my page, but homestead is not honoring it apparently. Andy idea why not? It only works in preview mode. Not afterwards.

Hi RickP,

Looks like you've already chatted with another representative about this.

The instructions above are for that particular users account, they're using Sitebuilder Plus.

If you'd like to add a password in Sitebuilder Desktop (downloaded program):

Click the Page Info button > Basics (tab in the properties editor)
*enter a password in the password filed > publish

I viewed your site (home page) and was prompted to enter a password, so it appears to be working as it should. Is there another page on your site you've added a password to that is not working?

I hope this helps clarify, let me know if you have any other questions.
