New website sometimes works and sometimes doesn't

My site sporadically goes between working and sending an "site can't be found" message from Homestead.com. Why would this be? I recently created a new site and linked it to my existing domain.  I published my new site and then attached my existing domain to the new site.  It works sometimes and others throws a "site can't be found" error.  Very annoying.
