domain pointing issues?

I'll be changing some domain pointing soon.

Stan's drywall will be pointed towards dwchomerepairs and samegdo will be pointed towards drywallrepairplugs.

Should I pause Cloudflare for https before the change or remove the domain from Cloudflare before the change then add the domain to the account again or does it matter?
