Web.Com The Company that Owns HS

So, I filled out a support form on the main company website yesterday.

Here is their laughable response that just now came in:

Hello Martin,

Web.com does not own Homestead. It is owned by the same company that owns Homestead, so it is called a sister company. Web.com employees have absolutely no access to or knowledge of Homestead's system. The only thing they could have done is refer you to Homestead support.

Regarding the issue with the builder, I checked the ticket for updates, but as of now, there are none. They are still working to determine the cause so that they can correct it.

There is a link that goes directly to Web.com in the upper right-hand corner of our, at least my HS, log-in page.

Regardless, can you please shed some light on why things like this happen? This, along with the last "scrambled" letter incident, has all of us very upset.

Thanks

Yeah, we're using a copy of their Home page and since there are no new signups with Homestead, we do recommend Web.com for anyone looking to create a new account.

And I definitely understand the frustration. I will see if I can get a clearer answer, but what I do know is that these issues are more frequent with Sitebuilder Plus, which is an older program.

I found a way around it, click on preview then click out of it and you can edit your site.
