Issues with Products

I am adding new products. I did a test run, only allowing certain categories/items to be seen. However, the things I set to not be visible are showing when I preview site. I published it for a minute to see if they were showing to customers. They were. Are there issues with the site? Another major concern is that when I click on the product picture, none of the info is showing up at all, not even the product picture. I tested this in preview, and publishing site. I then had to publish without the store showing to customers the issue gets fixed.  I have no idea what the problems are. Hoping you can detect what's wrong for me. I appreciate your time.
