Design space question

Few questions that I liked from the old design space and I am wondering if this new design space has it and maybe I just don't know how to do it on the new one. 

1. When I click to go to a page on my website, then from there I click the "back button" I created, to go back to the page where I was on my website why does it take me back to the top of the page and not where I left off on that page, which was closer to the bottom of the page. 

Is there a setting for that?

If not, is there a way when I click on a photo that is linked to another page, can I have it open in a new window? 

2. Is there a way I can highlight all of the images that are a part of my background design and connect them all as one and lock them,so I don't keep accidently moving things, and getting them out of place on my website?
