Assistance Needed with Nameserver Update

Hi Homestead Support Team,

I’m currently attempting to update the nameservers for my domain (nextcallpro.com) to point to Cloudflare. While the nameserver changes have been made in the Homestead DNS settings, the updates have not propagated even after three days.

Could you please check if there are any restrictions or settings in place on your platform that might be causing this delay? Additionally, if the domain is still managed under Homestead’s DNS, I would like to confirm that there are no limitations on switching to custom nameservers.

Here are the nameservers I am trying to apply:
• adaline.ns.cloudflare.com
• brady.ns.cloudflare.com

Please let me know if there are any further steps I need to take to complete this update.

Hello Joe8358, I put in the same message and so many others too. Homestead is not answering this question for any of us. I am currently working on transffering our domain to Godaddy. Something must be going on with Homestead (maybe going out of business). Because they even have posted on the home page that they are not taking in new domain reg.

Your domain is in the middle of being transferred. Domains in a transfer status cannot have their nameservers updated.

I'm having a similar problem with one of my domain names. A couple of weeks ago, I updated the nameservers. The Homestead dashboard shows that they are changed. But when I look up the domain name on https://www.whatsmydns.net/ it still shows the old nameservers.
