The community moderator provided the following reason for archiving:
I sometimes have many images in an image gallery, and arranging them and deleting them can be time consuming and difficult, because it is often hard to correlate the file name with the actual image. I end up counting images and then counting down the list of names every time, to make sure I have the right one to move! SO much time could be saved, if one could arrange the images by dragging and dropping the actual thumbnails in the image gallery, and perhaps even being able to select and delete them from there, too. I have to say, I love Homestead in many ways, but this is one of the issues that makes me want to take my website elsewhere, because it just seems so inefficient to perform these basic tasks.
Please let me know if there is a technique I have missed!
I just thought of something else--it might be easier for you guys to implement quickly: When choosing an image name from the list, it would help immensely if the corresponding thumbnail in the image gallery was highlighted somehow. That would eliminate having to count files in order to select the right image name.
