I cannot edit my site because I get to the page that says "Verifying that all your files are up to date." and will not load beyond that.

Did not work. The verifying files page is just stuck. Won't go beyond that and it's been 4 days now.

Can you try using Firefox or Chrome? It loads right up for me, and sometimes people have had trouble with Safari.
