There are a few reasons that you may not have access to the Advanced DNS settings page, or the Edit your nameservers page.

1. If your domain's nameservers have been changed (pointed to another company), your advanced DNS settings page will not be available. Once the nameservers are changed, the DNS records can only be edited at the company which you have pointed the domain to.

2. If you have opened up your Homestead account through our Google partnership under the "first year free" program, then the page to change your nameservers will also be blocked. Any domains you register on the Google accounts are intended to be used with the Homestead SiteBuilder. If you've registered a domain on your Google account and want to change the nameservers, you can convert the account to a paid Domain Hosting plan which is $14.99 per year. After you add your account is converted and your credit card is billed, it will allow access to the "Edit your nameservers" page.

3. If you opened your account directly with Homestead, but you do not have a valid credit card on record and/or the account has not successfully billed through, the Advanced DNS settings page may also be blocked.

Important: Accounts opened through our GYBO program (our Google partnership) that have non U.S. addresses will be closed. These accounts are for U.S. residents/businesses only. If you have a GYBO account that has been closed and wish to inquire, you may email compliance@homesteadsupport.com.
