If you've recently published and are seeing things like
old text and images on your website, you may need to clear your Internet
browser's history. Your browser keeps a cache or temporary memory of
sites you've visited to speed up loading times. This means you might see
a previous version of your site if you've just published.

Instructions are provided below for clearing the cache of different browsers, depending on what you use.

  • Internet Explorer 7.0 and higher

  • Firefox

  • Chrome

  • Safari

  • Important: You need to close all
other Internet browsing sessions, including any additional windows or
tabs. It is a good idea to write or print these instructions so that you
aren't on a page related to your website. Start on about:blank.

    Internet Explorer 7.0 and higher
    1. Hold down the Ctrl, Shift, and Delete keys at the same time.
    2. In the Delete Browsing History window, make sure Temporary Internet files, Cookies, and History are checked. Make sure Preserve Favorites website data is unchecked.

    1. Click Delete.
    2. Close and re-open Internet Explorer.

    Firefox
    1. Hold down the Ctrl, Shift, and Delete keys at the same time.
    2. In the Clear All History window, for the Time range to clear: box, click the down arrow and choose Everything.
    3. Make sure Browsing & Download History, Cookies, and Cache are checked.

    1. Click Clear Now.
    2. Close and re-open Firefox.

    Chrome
    1. Hold down the Ctrl, Shift, and Delete keys at the same time.
    2. In the Clear Browsing Data window, for the Obliterate the following items from: box, click the down arrow and choose the beginning of time.

    1. Make sure Clear browsing history, Empty the cache, and Delete cookies and other site and plug-in data are checked.

    1. Click Clear Browsing Data.
    2. Close and re-open Chrome.

    Safari
    1. In the upper right hand corner, click the Settings icon. Click Reset Safari....

    1. Make sure Clear history, Remove all webpage preview images, Close all Safari windows, and Remove all website data are checked.

    1. Click Reset.
    2. Close and re-open Safari.

Start from the last change or last save even when no changes have been made.

Lately whenever I log into my account to edit my site I am asked if I want to start from the last change or last save. This happens even when I have saved and published the site and not made additional changes afterward.

This sounds like it's probably just a caching issue. Before you begin to edit your site try to clear your cookies and cache, close the browser, then log in again.

Font shows differently between Chrome and IE.

When using Google Chrome, the font size and type of the text in the navigation pane and page headers  are different then what is designed. When using preview it is fine. Also, using Internet Explorer is fine. Any ideas?

Ed4931, Follow the steps above to clear the cache in your browser.  If clearing the cache does not fix the problem, give us more details, which site/pages, and explain what is not correct.  Or if possible include screenshots in your reply.

You must have a cached copy of the site.  Clear your browser and look again.  This is what I see live.

Have you tried a "refresh" (Shft/Ctrl/Delete)?
Using this procedure intermittently provides solutions to cache and cookie related interference.
F5 = Refresh: A browser works by downloading a page to your computer. Browsers will then show the page from your computer as opposed to downloading it every time you visit a page. This speeds up the process and lessens the traffic on the Internet. Depending on the browser, it will periodically check the website for a new version of the page and download if it has changed. If you don't see a change that you expect, then press F5. That tells the browser to go to the site and download the page now.
