Yesterday (9/18/13) Homestead switched to a new spam filter, which may cause an increase in the amount of spam to be delivered for some customers. Like most spam filters, there is a learning process. Be sure to flag any message you recognize as spam with the "spam" button in your Hmail account.

I really have about had it with the SPAM & now the email is so slow in the afternoon that from 12-6pm my email just won't load. I can't do business this way. If this is not fixed by the end of the week I will be moving my business elsewhere. And now we have to wait in queue lines of 15-20 minutes to try to get a refund that they deem appropriate for the time we've lost. I run a small business & can not afford this. I have been a customer for 10 years but I can't keep doing this.

Hi Liz5668 and Curt1378,

Sorry for how long this is taking but we still don't have an ETA. We are doing our best to get it up and running. We certainly do not want to lose your business but we understand that you must make decisions in the best interest of your business. This is why we have been suggesting to switch to a different email provider. If you don't have one that you are familiar with you might consider using Zoho Mail. We've created a thread with setup instructions.

Mike,
This is the problem we have with Homestead. We are paying your company for email service already. It's the company's responsibility to solve it, not send us to someone who can do it better. Homestead should pay to run their customers through another email server, not the other way around. Also what do your execs have to say about this. We understand you're just an employee.

In regards to Junk Email, for outlook users if you right click the email go to junk then junk email options, you can set the filter for Outlook's Junk mail. By default Outlook doesn't automatically block Junk email. I would suggest moving it to Low and see how it works and if you still get a lot of junk email set it to high. Make sure you continue to block any email that comes in as well.

One of many problems I've been dealing with lately with my homestead email.
