My chopdocschoppers.com site seems to have disappeared online. When I go to website manager and "publish" the site, it states the website will be availale at www.hstrial-cchopdocs.homesteadcloud.com and not the www.chopdocschoppers.com that has been working for several months. Please advise how to get that back up and running. Thanks.

Hello,

If the site is publishing with the .homesteadcloud.com extension use this fix here to connect the domain. https://community.homestead.com/homestead/topics/fixing-the-website-builder-404-error

Thank you. However, at the top of the page under "Your websites", it does show the correct domain name, not the homestead cloud domain. Also, when I go to "rename this site" and I put in the correct domain and click check availability, it states it is already associated with a website. Under domain center, under the domain, it will not allow me to change my site association. Any other tips you can provide would be appreciated. Thanks.

Correct, it will show the domain under websites manager but you will see when you click publish from within the editor its going to .homesteadcloud.com. I have performed the rename and connected the domain, the site is up and running now. I will also make sure the SSL is provisioned also and the site will show secured shortly.

Thank you. Is there a reason this happens?

Sometimes on the initial connection the domain doesn't override the site url. No problem.
