Why is Homestead so Sloooooooow?

Is this seriously considered a modern website host?  It takes minutes to load a page on my site, and hours to edit it. It's not my ISP because I can load other sites very quickly.  What is the problem with Homestead?

I apologize for the inconvenience, we are having reports of websites loading slowly. We are looking into the issue and will post an update.

I am becoming increasingly alarmed with the issues and have been monitoring the questions, which rarely seem to get answered by Homestead staff. My problem is I have extremely elaborate websites that would take hundreds of hours to reproduce elsewhere. I have been hoping they would resolve these issues. I don't have enough knowledge--is it server issues? Technical issues? Speed is a factor. Errors in programing?

Here are a couple I am looking at: wordpress.com, wix.com. There are more. I will be really, REALLY upset if I end up having to move my websites. But it will be to one of these. Probably.

One other thing...this is a very different Homestead from when I first started building my websites, which is why I am hanging on (that, and the fact that I don't have 100s of hours to rebuild). I think it is a good company with a good team and I am confident they will resolve the issues.

But they had better get on it! From what I am seeing, I am not the only person beyond frustrated.....

To inspire them, I am going to post this wherever it could be deemed relevant.

PLEASE!! CMON. My customers are complaining they can not access my website, we are loosing sales. it Takes over a minute to access one of my webpages, we had all the issues over Christmas, and now im getting problems coming up to Valentines day - Our busiest time of the year. Its just issue after issue! Please fix this!!!!
