Hi Claire, I am not an employee of Homestead but I can help you. This same thing happened to me and my client ,who I built the site for, said if I cannot fix the problem he would leave and go to someone who could fix the problem. After all he had paid for a domain name that we be clear of the Homestead shared domain name. I contacted Google and contacted them over and over again and they kept giving me the runaround. So finally I asked Homestead to register the domain name for my client. Homestead goes' thru a company called Two Cows, and after the registration and in about three weeks the problem was fixed. Good Luck.

Hello Claire,

Les has it right. When you create a website with us, we do have your website under our domain until you register your own domain. Then the new domain will take priority, and you can rid of all Homestead references on your site. If you still have something showing it's with Homestead, we can take a look with some additional information.
