Why can't I cancel my account online as per your instructions?

After many years of  being with Homestead, we no longer require the basic web-site. Your help site repeatedly insists that to cancel an account you can do it online, but every time I try to do so, I am told to phone support . I like in the UK and am reluctant to phone the US to cancel a simple account. You have no customer contact email or online chat - very disappointing for such a well established company.

It is possible to cancel the account before it bills you again, by choosing the "opt out of auto renewal" option. Only the option to cancel the account immediately requires you to call in.
I can cancel this account for you. Just to verify, any images or content that you had saved on your website will be inaccessible. Would you like me to cancel your account?
