The most common thing is that you are looking at a cached version of the site. On the published site, hit the f5 key on your keyboard to refresh the page. This will tell the browser to download the page again and usually will resolve the issue. If not, then look at the instructions below.
Access the File Manager by clicking on your domain name at the top of the SiteBuilder page.

Next, click View File Manager

The far right-hand column will display the published status.

If any of your pages are not published, you can click on the name of that file and click the publish button on the top menu and publish the individual files one at a time.
If all of your pages show a green checkmark and "OK" status, then you will need to check for broken links or clear your cookies and cache.
If none of these ideas resolves the issue, please reply below with the site, page, and changes made so we can take a look.

I've gone into Page Name and Description on all pages but the old wording still shows up in the search as a short cut description of the web site. How to I change the short description of our business that shows up on a web search? Thanks Fay

I tried the suggestions above for why my changes are not publishing.
Two pages so far are not publishing, the Home and the About Us page.
Thanks,
Angelika

I understand about the siteerror404 page.
I spoke to my receptionist and I think you nailed it. He added a html from google onto the home page so that youtube can verify me. Since that change, I can't do any changes and publish them.

I read the article about how to unpublish a page. I got it, but how can I have the dates in order. It is harder if I press ctrl & F?
Ok so from now on I can't publish the entire site anymore because the google page will try to publish, am I understanding this correctly?
I can do what we did again if I want to put something from youtube on my site, but that doesn't guarantee that google will let me keep the videos, is that correct?
I understand I can verify in different ways. I think I will not have to because under my youtube channel it still says I am verified & I tried to look at all the options in youtube under my channel to try to verify me in different ways and that option is no longer available to me.
Thanks again.

The plan you are currently on is limited to 25 MB of storage, which the changes you are trying to make exceeds. At this point, you have two options:
1) You can delete content from your file manager to free up space
2) I can add additional storage, 1 GB, for an additional $2/month.
Just let me know what option works best for you!

Really unclear how it went from publishing just fine to not publishing. It's like someone saw my name and just flipped the off switch.
Could someone assist?

It looks like you have 7 pages on your website, but you current package only allows for 5. This would be why you are experiencing issues publishing. You would either need to remove pages or I can add additional pages for $2/month.

1. Try a F5 to Refresh your browser.
2. Publishing will be prohibited if you've exceed your page limit or your storage limit. Does your account allows for 25mb of disk space? If you are attempting to exceed that amount, so it will not publish.
3. You may add 1gb of space for $2/month.
4. you can look in the file manager and see if there are files no longer on a page that you can delete to free up some space.
5. To see your used and remaining storage space, go to homestead.com and log into your account. Select My Account > Account Summary > In the page that opens, you'll see your site stats, including the amount of MB used and remaining.
6. Do you have a 5 page plan? You may be trying to publish more than 5 pages. You can either remove pages to get down to 5, or you can add a 10/pack, 10 additional pages for $2/month.

When I visit that domain I am seeing the same content show as what is in the editor. Were you still having an issue with this?
