Why am I being sent to roundcube when I try to access my webmail?

I am trying to access emails on homestead, but when I sign in I am sent to a Roundcube login page. I never received any communication from Homestead regarding the use of Roundcube for forwarding mail that comes to my site to a separate email - which is what I'm assuming it's for. But even after creating a NEW account on Roundcube, I don't understand how I'm supposed to use it to access my homestead email accounts.

Hello,

Roundcube is the platform Homestead uses to provide email to our customers. It is used just like any other email box, it consist of an inbox, sent, trash folder etc. All emails sent to the Homestead domain emails do get routed to Roundcube.  If you need to set up a forward to another email address you can set up a forward with these instructions. https://community.homestead.com/homestead/topics/roundcube-forwards

Homestead via roundcube has created lots of issues, such as email sent from roundcube is being recognized as phising, spam and junk e-mail, when homestead crossed over to this e-mail platform they have made it virtually impossible to use Outlook....NONE of the setting they suggest will work....

I apologize you are experiencing Outlook issues. Roundcube has been used by our customers for the past few years and many users have been able to successfully connect to Outlook. Here are all the settings needed to connect. https://community.homestead.com/homestead/topics/email-client-settings If you still have issues you can always call in to get some assistance with the set up.
