2. Click Choose a different design

3. Click Browse Gallery

3. Click on any random template and you will get a popup like shown below with a link at the bottom which says "Start from scratch"

That is the extent of the templates. You can customize them or build your own from scratch.

None of your templates fit my business. I need a western flavor template, cowboy boots, desert scene, cowboy hat, etc. Can you help? Thanks.

The templates are completely customizable, but if you are stuck, you can try to build one from nothing to suit your needs.

We can also arrange to have a design consultant call you to discuss building a custom site.

Drew.

The templates are very customizeable, but if you don't see something you lije, then build one yourself.

When you click on any template, it does not give you a preview popup with the Build from scratch link. How do you get it?

If you click any of the templates while browsing, that should prompt a popup with the preview of the design. You should also see "Have your own design? Start from scratch" at the bottom left of this pop-up.

Linda3125, If you mean starting from a simple white screen, then here is what you can do. Your account is still set up to use Sitebuilder desktop. When that is the case, you can't select start from scratch using Sitebuilder Plus.

You can select any template and you can simply delete all the elements, or, if you want we can switch the account to Plus only and you will then see the link.

Let us know.

Okay. I was asking the wrong question, wasn't I? Yes, I wanted a blank screen. I currently delete all the elements to get to a blank screen. I don't know what the pros and cons are of going Plus only. Right now I'm working with XP, so I'm reluctant to change anything and chance it not working at all. Thank you for your information.

You can continue doing it that way. It appears you only log in with the online builder, Plus. To change the account to Plus only, you would get access to the master page feature, even if starting from scratch. Anything you add to the master page will automatically appear on all pages in the same place, so you can build your own template, then customize the other pages around things like the logo and navigation menu.

The option you suggest just doesn't exist, and that is very frustrating.  You must have changed your website.  There has got to be an easy obvious way to have a blank page to work with!  How long has it been since this answer was outmoded?  How pathetic!  Why haven't you gotten this straight?

If you are using the new WebsiteBuilder, choose a template and delete all the elements to have a blank canvas to build your site, your way.

Jeff1587, Many customers still have Sitebuilder sites. This is still a current topic for those people. It can be a little confusing with 2 builders active, but we are trying to make it more clear.

alright,  I'm on the elements page and it is not in the least obvious how to "delete" all of the elements.  how do you "delete all of the elements" when you are on the "elements" page?

You can depress the shift key and select each element on the page and then delete. With the new program I've found it easier though to select them in smaller groups rather than all at once.

thauk you susan.  yes, that would be easier for someone who does it all of the time.  the only problem is that most of the people who use this site are using it for the first time.  that can only cause more work for you, but what you gonna do?
