Where do I find the Incomplete(formally Abandoned) Orders in my Big Commerce store?

When a customer proceeds to checkout, our system creates a new order for them. Sometimes if the customer doesn't end up completing the checkout process, then this order will not show up in the control panel, and will be put into the Incomplete Orders section(formally Abandoned Orders).

Incomplete Orders may appear on your store for numerous reasons including:

  • Customers simply choosing not to pay for their order after heading to your payment gateway

  • Customers entering invalid billing details and so a payment/transaction was not able to be completed

  • Customers web browsers being closed or their internet connection dropping out and them replacing the order at a later time

If the order is a valid order and needs to be marked as shipped, you would need to move them out of the Incomplete Order section. Recently, the location and name of the abandoned orders has changed to incomplete orders and is no longer under Orders, then View Order.

To find the Incomplete Orders for the new Big Commerce layout:

1) Log into your store's control panel.

2) Switch to old analytics if you haven't done so. To switch it from new to old:
   
         2a) Click on the graph icon(analytics) and then Switch To Old Analytics.

         

3) Once your store is on the Old Analytics, Click on the graph icon(analytics) and click on Order.




4) Click on the Incomplete Orders tab.






To find the Incomplete Orders for the old Big Commerce layout:

1) Log into your store's control panel.

2) Switch to old analytics if you haven't done so. To switch it from new to old:
    
         2a) Click on Analytics and then Store Overview.

     
          
     
         2b) Click, switch to old analytics text above the dashboard on the page.

   
            

3) Once your store is on the Old Analytics, Click on Analytics, then Order.





4) Click on the Incomplete Orders tab.
