I am trying to find an acceptable format for meta title, footer and meta tags.
The Help is all relative to the old system ( which I used and was far superior)
I would be glad of any example that is working i can then substitute my own words.
Thanks In advance

Go to the pages button in the editor and click on settings for each desired page. There is a section for Page SEO. You can add this information there.

Can you paste it under the Site Header HTML section instead of the Site Meta Tags section? A meta tag example can be something like:
<meta name="keywords" content="wood, furniture, garden, garden-table, etc.">
