There are some in the category for Websitebuilder. https://community.homestead.com/homes... Look for the topics with the Homestead logo to the left. Those are ones we created to help. We will be adding more as we can. Is there something in particular you want to know how to do?

It sounds like you are in the right place. It should look like this when you click it. Any topics with the Homestead logo to the left was created by Homestead employees.

Any one of the topics with the Homestead logo is a specific tutorial. You can also use search if you are looking for something specific.

OK, but I'm beyond frustrated. It shouldn't be that hard to find tutorials for a new product. I can't find them.

Go to: https://community.homestead.com/homestead/categories/homestead_websitebuilder?topic-list[settings][p...    The topic at the top has the red Homestead house beside it. That indicates it's a tutorial. The tutorials are scattered throughout that section so just look for the red house next to a post.

At this time there isn't a specific tutorial so yes, you need to read through the posts topics to see if it pertains to you.

Sorry Drew ... felt maybe it needed a bit of nudge.  And I have that topic on speed dial. :)

Thank you, Susan. Shouldn't we be able to find these tutorials in one place without having to search through everyone else's problems? A tutorial page, perhaps? I need to get rid of the background on my site and can't figure out how or find someone who already had the issue.

Ideally, yes there should be a dedicated Help/Tutorial site. But for now we have to make do.

To change the background in the Header or a Section click on it and then either choose a color or image as shown below

Sorry, bad day. I've created sites with GoDaddy, Wix and WordPress and this new websitebuilder is the only one that has caused me this much grief trying to learn. I don't think it's very user-friendly, but I'll start fresh Monday.

I was totally frustrated with this builder when it first launched and admittedly there are still times I would like to put my foot through it, but the more I use it the more I like it.

One thing - when you start building be sure you build the mobile right along with the desktop version rather than building the whole desktop part and then going back to do the mobile. It will save you several bottles of excedrin or beverage of your choice.

Now then, the header and footer are set up to populate across the entire site for the sake of efficiency I guess. To change that you need to delete the header and footer.
Click on them and then click on the garbage can. (image below) Do the same to delete the header. When you do this it means you will have to add them manually to each page.

Once that's done you should be left with a Section (probably named A) and can build your site on that.
