Pictures are automatically rotating in the photo gallery - I rotate them on my computer and then up load them and they stay the same.

Some newer devices, especially iOS devices can add code to the image that overrides Sitebuilder. If you use image editing software to orient the image correctly and then save it as a new image name, you should be able to upload it again and have it work.

Why should I have to use an image editing software to upload a picture. Not happy with Homestead. Maybe Homestead should fix this so people don't have to do it. Now another hoop. Did I say I'm not happy?

The problem is in the way the pictures were taken originally.  The camera has to be in the upper left corner of the phone or pad.  Just the way it is.  You would have the same problem if you were uploading these to FB and possibly Instagram.  You can see them upright on the original device, but they upload whichever way the lens was when they were taken.  It's frustrating I know.  I still do it sometimes, and I take photos for a living!  Good luck!

Thanks for your comment. I use an iPhone 7 and never had a problem with uploading to any social media sites or other website hosting sites. I didn't want to download software, so I ended up using canva and created a jpg post. It worked. In this instant, Homestead is not user friendly. Again, thanks for your comment.
