Something has changed in the last month. I built our site last fall and for a time the software worked OK. Now, when I open a page, click on a text box, then click on "edit," make changes to a line or several lines, hit "save" or hit "publish," the page seems to freeze. I can't get back into the text box or make any other changes to that page or any other page until I entirely exit the site builder, re-enter my password and go through the whole process again. If I'm lucky, it only takes once or twice repeating the process until it finally accepts my changes and the page is updated. If I'm not lucky, I quit in utter frustration. What can I do to make this stop happening?

Hi Hadwen -

I'm so sorry!
The problem you're experiencing could be happening if you are using multiple computers to work on your website. If so, often times, clearing your browser's cache should help resolve the issue. If not, please let me know what browser you're using and which pages you're working on.

Thanks!

I cleared my cache, history, etc. But the sitebuilder still freezes up when I try to edit anything. I am using Safari and just one computer to edit the site: www.hadwenparkchurch.org.

Thanks for your reply!

The recommended browser that our developers have fully QA'd and tested on for Sitebuilder is Firefox. Unfortunately, there are still some issues that we are working on fixing with Safari (and other browsers). In the meantime, do you mind using Firefox to work on your site? I have reported this to our team so they can further investigate, and will let you know once progress has been made.

I'll give it a try. Thank you. (I don't believe I saw this anywhere in the instructions for setting up the site. . . )
