Can you tell me if there is a certain step that didn't seem to be clear or incorrect? The online instructions are pretty new so would like feedback if they were not clear, or not correct.

Also, I have just sent you a private email.

This is too involved for the lay person. Why is it not made to stop as easy as the credit card processor that is listed first in payments?

Same here, I have a QBMS account as well. I clicked the link you provide and it don't come up as the same screen shot. I get Intuit Partner Platform. Says nothing about registering with IDN, just join at the top. Getting confused.

I followed the steps and it worked until step 3 when I tried to make the connection ticket. I am currently using QBMS for my Homestead Intuit website but when I complete this step in the login I keep getting errors. Is there another way to make connection ticket?

Be sure you all are replacing in the code part "%%APP_ID%% " with the application ID you created in the Partner Platform. It's easy to overlook. It took me several attempts and errors before I realized after a hard study I had the code improper. I suggest using Notepad or similar to keep ID and code straight during the process. That way you can just copy and paste when needed until you are completely set up in bigcommerce.

I am currently using Intuit Merchant Services as my gateway in the old ProStores platform (like everyone else, I'm having a devil of a time configuring it to use with BigCommerce). However I noticed an option to use "Stripe" as a gateway in the BigCommerce platform. Would it be easier and less expensive to switch to Stripe? What would you recommend?

Yes. You want to select QBMS, QuickBooks Merchant Services.

For the domain, use either www.domain or stores.domain. It shouldn't matter.

I clicked on the link above for the connection ticket but came to a page to fill out a PCI compliant questionaire. I answered all the questions and it said I passed. However, it is still pending setup for a scheduled scan. Now when I click on the connection ticket link above it says "We are sorry! Your merchant service account is still pending approval or you have not yet applied for a merchant service account with Intuit Payment Solutions."

I've had the Intuit Merchant Center account for a long time and never had any problems. Could this be because the ControlScan is still pending the scan completion? Good grief, it's getting more complicated by the minute.

Yes, but this is one reason Prostores was so easy as it was not at all current with the requirements.

Unfortunately it is all with Intuit right now. You could call them to see how long it might be, but I can't answer.

Intuit/Homestead needs to get its former clients totally up and running with the credit cards accounts we had set up. It's too confusing for us to have to wade through the various and sundry possibilities. Ridiculous way to run a business and not treating your clients correctly

this is as painful a process as I can imagine - I'm a business owner, not a tech specialist by any means - Please recommend the best solution to create the results of accepting credit cards for online payments & not going thru this punishment ... I'm currently with QBMS but I can change if that's best

If you already have a QBMS account, then the steps above are going to be your easiest fastest option. If you want other simple options you might consider Stripe or Paypal as shown here: https://community.homestead.com/homes...

Here's another question. Is there a difference between an Intuit Ecommerce Payments account and the Intuit QuickBooks payments account? My account is with intuit and about seven years old. I never did anything with QuickBooks per se everything was directly with and through the Intuit sight. QuickBooks is not mentioned anywhere on the sight I log into to do transactions by hand (Intuit Merchant Service Center)

It sounds like the issue is that you probably have the wrong merchant account type. Intuit offers a variety of different kinds but if it's not the QuickBooks (QBMS) it won't work.

If you need something quick and easy, you might consider Stripe or Paypal shown here: https://community.homestead.com/homes...

No Credit Card Connection.

Unable to Connect to Intuit's Credit card system. Followed all Intuit's instructions to no avail. Our business has come to a halt...totally unacceptable. Please provide a status on ticket number 00085785 as soon as possible, if we are not connected within the next 12 hours, please provide a supplier that can match Intui's low rates and service. Your assistance will be appreciated.

Hi JOSE A.0206, Sorry to hear about the problem with the merchant account. I am a little confused as Homestead no longer has a ticketing system. Did you open a ticket through Intuit?

If you wish to use the QBMS with your Storefront, this page shows the step by step instructions to set it up.

The new Bigcommerce platform does offer the flexibility of choosing from many more providers than the old Prostores system. You can view the list here:

I tried setting up my payment processor a month ago but when it came to getting my connection ticket I kept getting an error saying my account was pending. After hours on the phone with Homestead and Intuit I figured out on my own that it was the PCI compliance holding it up. I filled it out and got my scan. I did not pass due to a problem with your site. I can email the vulnerability report to you but don't have an address that would get this to the correct people. Time is running out and to be honest I am about ready to dump homestead after 11 years.

this transfer from homestead to big commerce has been a total nightmare. Who knows what $$ were lost especially during the holidays. Still don't know how to simply get previous credit card system going. Personal and thorough transfer needs to be provided or charges refunded for this service!

Unfortunately we can't do the processor for you. That requires information that will will not take from you.

As for shipping, if we can't get it figured out, then you will need to call support or use chat. How do you want to ship? How many zones and what methods?

QBMS and Big Commerce / Homestead Set Up Question.

I have seen several questions and folks experiencing similar troubles as I am.  I have been bounced back and forth between Quick Books and Homestead / Big Commerce and truly feel ready to give up.  My question is this:

We are getting the same cryptic error message as many before:

"Something went wrong when trying to process your payment. Please review the error message and try again:
Unfortunately there was a problem processing your payment. Please check the credit card number and try again.
"

We have tried several credit cards - all are valid and all fail.

We are developing the site in http://littleportionbakery.mybigcommerce.com/

When I am in Intuit Developer creating the QBMS APP - should I be using the above development website when creating the APP or the future production name (which we are not pointing to yet) or littleportionbakery.org.  DOES THIS REALLY MATTER?

We have double and triple checked all data for Application Login, AppID, Connection Ticket and have test mode marked NO.

HELP!

Hi Michael9579.  this page shows how to set up the qmbs merchant account. It sounds like you might be stuck on the steps under the section titled "Register your QBMS module" .

Go ahead and set up the pointing of your domain first as it sounds like this may be the problem.
How do I direct my domain to my new Bigcommerce powered store?
