What is WebsiteBuilder? I was told by the powers that be Homestead is no longer supporting Site Builder desktop, no problem. Also, they said Site Builder Plus is on it's way out too. They said their attention is more on WebsiteBuilder, but how do I get into this WebsiteBuilder? Is it that any new people who sign up for your services at homestead.com will automatically be signed up for WebsiteBuilder rather than SiteBuilder Plus. If that is the case how do I go about using WebsiteBuilder? How do I switch? Tried searching but found very little about WebsiteBuilder.
If you have an account that allows multiple sites you should see Add A Site in the upper right of the log in page. Give the site any ol name as once completed you will then change it to your regular domain name.
You will have to rebuild your site as it isn't possible to just move your existing site over, however you can build the new one and still keep the existing site up and running.
As with all new things there is a learning curve, but there are some tutorials and you can always ask for help in here.
If you don't have the package for multiple sites you can add a site for an extra $2.00/month. Once you have completed building the new site you can then cancel the add on.
Homestead is still supporting both desktop and SiteBuilder Plus, they aren't however upgrading them - no new bells and whistles.
Okay, so I have rebuilt my site in websitebuilder. Now, how do I make the swap from old to new. Do I merely delete the original site then change the name of the new site to the name the original site had? Thanks again!
