Websitebuilder question about https

I've started building a basic site to replace another using websitebuilder and have published and have aimed at the desired domain. I don't have a padlock using the domain name. Do I need to go through Cloudflare to secure the site with https the same way necessary with a sitebuilder plus site?

For some reason I thought sites built with websitebuilder were automatically https compliant. The domain I'm using for the site was connected to a site built and maintained with desktop sitebuilder for years. It was never opened or edited using sitebuilder plus that I can remember.

Hello,

If the domain was attached to a site builder site previously it still does have the old DNS settings which I was able to see. It is correct that the new WebsiteBuilder sites are secured with https. I have updated the DNS settings for the site and it will show secure after prorogation time please allow 24 hours for the change to take effect.
