I currently use desktop Sitebuilder
How do I start to use Website Builder to convert my existing sites over to it?
I have a new domain registered as "algonquintravelschool", how do I save the new site so that it is published with this new domain?

Hello,

Any sites that you want on WebsiteBuilder will need to be rebuilt. There is not a way to convert your sites.

If you've registered a domain and want it associated to a different site, you'll just need to change the site association:

Yes, I know I have to totally rebuild a site on Website Builder but how do I open it in the first place?
When I save the index page, the domain remains as homestead.com although I selected my new domain - algonquintravelschool.

For now, you wouldn't be able to do anything with that domain as it is registered through another company. To start using a WebsiteBuilder site, you just need to choose "Add New Website" from the Websites Manager tab.

My Website Manager tab shows I have been upgraded free to Website Builder.
I entered a new website name, but it appears in my old Sitebuilder program.
How do I get into Website Builder to use the new features?
(p.s. thanks for the domain guidance, I have my new one now with an .info extension)

Hmm. I can see a site on your account called atstcolintroduction.homesteadcloud.com
This is build in the new WebsiteBuilder. You just need to choose a domain. Once your domain registers, it will take the place of that site name

I still see Homestead Sitebuilder on that draft page you mention, which was my first use of what I thought was the new Website Builder, but it is built on the old Sitebuilder.

Can you send me a screenshot of this? I'm not seeing that on my end

Are you trying to log in on the old Sitebuilder Desktop program?

You have to go online and and log into homestead.com. Then, click on Websites Manager and click Choose Design

The problem is that when you select a template and begin working on that site with Sitebuilder Desktop, logging into Website Manager would not recognize that anymore. The reason is because any new sites that are seen inside of your Homestead account in Websites Manager is going to show as a Website Builder site. It is asking you to choose a new template because you have not selected a template with Website Builder. If you want to proceed with creating and editing sites with Website Builder, you have to login to Homestead.com, create a new site and choose a new Website Builder template, and begin working in the new editor. You will see new templates as it is a completely new editor.

I have adjusted the site atstcolintroduction.homestead.com so you can login at Homestead.com and edit with Sitebuilder Plus, but again if you wish to begin working with our new editor, you do have to login, click add new site, select a new Website Builder template, and go from there.

If you have any other questions, definitely reach back out as we would love to help clear up any confusion!
