Website reducing my photo size without authorization

When I try to upload my photos, there is a pop up asking to adjust the size of the picture, and each time, I press "NO". However, the photo pops up on the screen extremely small although I have not asked for any adjustments to the photo size. I am getting extremely upset trying to deal with this problem. Please help. Thank you

Size your photos prior to uploading using an Ap like Paint or Lunapic. Also, you can use the image menu to change the size, optimize the size. Dragging the image from the corner to the size you'd like.

thank you, but I have already resized, tried dragging, etc..  however, the website wants to shrinks the photos to the point, you can almost not see the pictures.  It is a malfunction of the site that I have been fighting all night.

To place an image, are you clicking on the 'Image' button? You should be. Sounds like you might be clicking 'Photo Gallery', which displays thumbnails.

I am not sure which site and page you are working on, but Mark may have the answer here. If you use gallery instead of image it will show a small thumbnail. If you use an image and it comes up smaller than you like, you can drag the corner of the element to enlarge it.
