My site only works when I use Safari or Chrome. When I use Internet Explorer or Microsoft Edge, it displays "This page can't be displayed" and I have to refresh the browser to display the site.

I just tried but it doesn't work unless I refresh the page. If I restart my computer and open the site on the Internet Explorer or Microsoft Edge, it doesn't work until I hit refresh. FYI, I tried it many times on 3 PCs and the results are the same. I have no problem going to other websites.

Can someone please help finding what the issue is? Thanks.

Working fine on firefox... edge does have its own unique problems at times, hopefully one of the techs from Homestead may have the answer

Thank you for your reply, Brian!

Does anyone else experience the same problem that I am having?

Sadly the tech guys will not be back in here until Monday morning USA time. Its got to be a setting with Microsoft IE and Microsoft edge but just what I am sorry I have no idea.I never IE browsers. I had a quick search on google and there are various websites explaining problems with Edge heres one that may provide an answer http://www.digitaltrends.com/computing/heres-how-to-fix-17-common-problems-with-microsoft-edge/ but there are many different problems. On the plus side for now is that Google chrome seems to e the prefered browser of choice for most web surfers. Refreshing the screen with F5 tells the computer to fetch the page from the internet rather than the cached version stored so its strange that F5 loads the page but initially neither browser does..Odd!!! Hopefully the techs at HOmestead will have an answer for you so hang in there ntil Monday.. good luck buddy

I suspect that Homestead may have switched their primary DNS hosting away from DYN last Friday after the cyber attack. Since the problem started shortly after the attacks. There is almost no question that it is DNS related. It could be Homestead or it could be whomever Homestead is using to host their websites.

It is now 9:00 PM Sunday now Homestead is still not working on the East Coast namely Florida. if techs support is not going to be available till Monday that is very poor, not happy!

MikeC, I am experiencing the same issue in IE (and sometimes Chrome) on laptop, although I am in Hungary. The problem seems to be international :( I am sure it has something to do with the new Builder system integration.

The denial of Service attack was reported in the UK news and I believe it included Google and a lot more.. I dont think it was aimed directly at Homestead. If it helps I am in the UK and access to builder and my website seems unafected. I use Firefox browser maybe give that try. Sorry I cant give any more help and hopefully the techs at Homestead will be able to give an answer MOnday.. sorry guys.

The denial of service attack was not directed at Homestead, but it did have an effect on Homestead for some users.

The issues seen on Friday should have been cleared up. It is not related to the new builder integration. Any issues would have been related to the cyber attack.

If they are having a similar issue to you, then they may show the site as down even if it is not. Those sites simply see if they can get to a site. If they can't then they say it is down. Your site continues to come up for me. I have reported this symptom to our network folks to see if they can track any communications issues anywhere. Am I correct in assuming you can still see it with the other browsers?

Thank you for your quick reply.

Yes, the site is working with safari and chrome.

However, if our customers can't get to our site and see the exactly same thing "the page can't be displayed" as me, we will lose a lot of customers.

Two other websites that also says the site is down or can't get in.

We also pay for google image advertisement and they took the ads down this morning because they detected the site wasn't working. Please see attached.

I understand, and we are looking, but it does seem to be something with communications, as it does not affect me in any browser.

Thank you for your help. I will keep you posted if the issue is resolved. If you could keep me updated on your end, that would be very helpful. Thanks again, Drew!

MikeC, do you see a change now? The networking folks don't see anything in the logs or see any configuration issues. Every time I look your site comes right up in all browsers. I am hoping whatever it was has been resolved. I checked several down detectors and they all reported it up and running.

Hi Drew, same thing is happening again. The site was up from Monday afternoon to Saturday afternoon. It only works when I use Safari or Chrome. When I use Internet Explorer or Microsoft Edge, it displays "This page can't be displayed" and I have to refresh the browser to display the site. Would you please help?

These sources indicate the site is down but when refreshed they both indicate that your site is up.
I'm sure Drew can help.

Just for reference, the site http://www.cpsimports.com/ is loading perfectly in many browsers (including IE) on my WIN7 laptop. For sure a week ago I noticed the problem, but seems ok for now. I am in the European Union.

The "page cannot be displayed message" in IE browser tend to come up after the site is not active for 10 mins. or so. In this case you MUST hit refresh in order to reach the site.

Thank you for making the video. Yes, I also experience the same thing. I have to refresh the site on IE after the browser had been inactive for few minutes. It also happens on Chrome if it stay inactive but Chrome actually refreshes itself. I hope Drew can report this issue to his networks team so they can figure what the problem is as I didn't change DNS setting or anything else.

Once again, thank you so much for your time and effort. I really appreciate it.

Drew, I checked my site on https://asm.ca.com/en/checkit.php

The status shows "Recv failure: Connection reset by peer" as Attila2920 pointed out above.

They also detected several errors.
