Please check this domain and website, same names - http://www.colorado-bigfoot.com/  I am getting error 404 - it should have been more than enough time now for the site to attach to the domain. HOMESTEAD - NOTHING BUT PROBLEMS

Are you using SB+? If so, You may need to name your Home Page, your landing page.
ADDING A NEW HOME PAGE:
To install the new page as your home page, select the page > Page Settings > Page Name > enter "index.html" > save. Remove the page name from your previous page.
Next, you can add the new home page to your site navigation menu by selecting the menu > Use the Site Navigation Menu Settings > Links > + to add the page > follow the instructions in the command box to locate your new home page > select the page from your files > OK. Now, you can scroll to the bottom and edit the page title. Since you have only one page, it should now be the only page on the menu and it should appear with the page title you've chosen and it will respond as the home page.

I saw in your profile that you've been using the desktop version of sitebuilder. While I don't know if you're still using it I can tell you that I used it for close to 15 years before switching to sitebuilder plus. I loved the desktop version of sitebuilder but it had way too many little problems. It would lock-up, go offline, refuse to load, etc. Do I wish they'd fix it and bring it back? Sure...But I also wish Pontiac was still producing cars.

When I switched over to using sitebuilder plus instead of the desktop version I edited, published, etc. as usual. However 2 of my sites would not associate with the domain names I had pointed the sites at. I checked and re-checked everything numerous times before contacting homestead. Homestead had to click a couple buttons or change something around on their end before the sites would associate as I wanted.

Michelle C should be here Monday to respond to your question and help. She's on Arizona time and works for homestead. Or on Monday you can call 1-800-710-1998 or 1-800-986-0958. They should be open around 9:00 AM AZ time

Thank you. Did you work for intuit back when they owned Homestead and even tried partnering with Google? I worked for this company, Homestead /intuit, back in 2013... not bad except they really only cared about sales. Even if someone couldn't afford it, didn't need it, they didn't care, just promoted and honored the person who sold the most nevermind any morals.

Made a mistake. Support opens at 6:00 AM AZ time according to the website.

As for ever working for homestead? Nope. However I've used their software since 2002. But my sites are static so I don't have the same problems some other homestead customers have. As a wall and ceiling repair person the only thing I'm interested in is getting the visitor to call, text or email me to schedule a time for me to inspect their wall or ceiling damage. I don't have videos, store fronts, order placing, additional html scripting or anything interactive.

When you worked there I think the original homestead had already been sold. I'm not sure if homestead purchased intuit websites or if it was the other way around. But I'm pretty sure both were purchased by Endurance International Group sometime around 2010.

Concerning morality in the sales field; Sales is a tough field but sales people have to sell, even in my little world. Sometimes the price I quote is hard for the customer to pay but I run what for all intents and purposes is a business and I just can't see selling my skill set for $10.00 an hour. Plus customers always have the option of using someone else.
