It appears that the email is from ICANN  and yes, it is legit.  If the information shown is accurate you need do nothing. If you need to change something you can log in to Homestead and change the info there under your Account.

Yes, but Susan and Drew, I tried to do that.  I'm not that savvy with internet systems unless I've spent a lot of time studying the issue.  On this form it says "Domain Name: THECOUNCILOFWISEWOMEN.COM".  When I signed up for yet another year, I spoke to one of your representatives, and advised him to delete "Domain Name: THECOUNCILOFWISEWOMEN.COM."  I should only have one Domain name and that is

I see. You do just have the one domain on your account, but when domains are registered they are registered for a year at a time, so even though it has been removed from your account, it still exists and your name is on it. Since it is off the account we will not renew it again when the time comes and it will expire naturally. ICANN will still send these verification messages about once a year as long as the domain exists. You may also get renewal notices when it gets close to time. Feel free to ignore these and they will stop when the domain expires and your information is no longer attached.

It doesn't look there is a current site for that domain. It shows that the template was changed about 2 weeks ago. This would have reset the site to nothing. I would look at the design choices and select one, then you can get into the editor and create the site.
