This conversation has been merged. Please reference the main conversation: In Homestead, there are two ways "to go mobile": WebsiteBuilder and DudaMobile. What are PROS and CONS for each?

The following question is for a Homestead representative, Hope to hear back soon, thanks.

When using DudaMobile with SiteBuilder to create a mobile version of the existing website, does the ORIGINAL DESKTOP VIEW of the existing website stay untouched or I have to play with that too? Thanks.

From my experience, I found that updating the desktop version first was the easiest thing to do, and THEN re-publish the Duda mobile.  It is always wise to re-check the mobile version because sometimes some odd things happen with that and you may have to re-tweak the mobile version.  (This is why the new icloud builder is better because the mobile version always looks great and from looking at stats over the last year or so, people are definitely looking at the site on mobile version most of the time)

Thanks Lynn,
The question for me is that my sitebuilder desktop website has developed a distinct presence on the internet over the years, and publishing a new WebsiteBuilder site would mean to denounce my established website? What is the solution? Is there any way to have a new mobile friendly website, yet to keep my old website out there. I just know that it would take a very long time, and perhaps years, before the new site will have a fully completed and as decent look as my old website.
