I've embedded the following code

"<link rel="stylesheet" href="http://www.dailyword.com/css/rss_200.css"; type="text/css"><script language="JavaScript" src="http://www.dailyword.com/feed2js/feed2js.php?src=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.dailyword.com%2Findex.xml&chan...; type="text/javascript"></script>"

on my webpage here https://unitychurchdownriver.org/  The formatted block of code with logos should appear to the right of where the vision statement is appearing.  The code displays fine within the website builder preview and within the editor itself, however as you can see the final product at the above url doesn't display at all.

Is it possible that since some of the content within the embedded html isn't secured (https) this is what is preventing the code from being displayed?

Any ideas or suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

Hello,

It is possible that that would cause issues with the SSL. You can add a "s" to the http links in the HTML code and that may allow it to function properly.

Thanks Michelle, I did try that it, all of the code, with the exception of the css link, has been changed to https, which allows the text of the code to work properly however the entire code should produce something like the second image below.  When I change the css code line to https, the image or the text does not appear.  I'm including some screenshots here as well.  The first is how the code appears on the page now.

It should look like this image below.  Also, the code works as below within website builder, which is where this capture was taken from, but the website editor works within an unsecured environment, which explains why the code works there and not on the actual published and secured url.

Thanks Michelle.  I've also contacted the creator of the widget but have yet to hear back from them.  Any further suggestions?

Michelle,

After writing the above, I wanted to see if changing the first line to https would work, and it did.  Seems to be working now as intended at https://www.unitychurchdownriver.org

Thanks again.
