Unable to send email through Samsung phone or tablet

Have email set up on android tablet and Samsung Galaxy II, but unable to send any emails. I receive them but can not respond. I have read the other topics but do not see where this issue is addressed. Please help!

Hi Pamela7842,

Sounds like the outgoing server port number might need to be updated, if that's something you have access to on your mobile devices.

You may want to contact your mobile carrier as well and see if they can provide you any insight on why you're able to receive and not send.

I know some ISP (internet service providers) only allow certain outgoing server ports to be used, although i'm not sure if that's the specific issue you're having.

You can also try deleting the email account from your devices and re-adding them using the information from the Outlook Setup Topic". The server info should be exactly the same whether setting it up as an pop or imap account.
