Will not let me upload pictures to my website. So frustrated right now as I have been having issues with this website builder for a long time and nothing ever gets resolved. So difficult to find the support number and when you do find it the support is closed:(  Keep getting this error code

Hello Molly4685

Have you taken a look at the file in your computer and made sure it doesn't have anything other than letters or numbers in the name? What is the file name?

I have been using this same format to upload my pictures since 2007 with no issues.  And just added some within the past week, now suddenly I can't upload any pictures.  Did you change the rules within the past week?  My pictures do have a dash or period in them as well as numbers most of the time but never had an issue, now suddenly I can't upload them?  Here is an example, one pic is named SLM1-3.5WKS  and they are JPG

Been having so many issues since the sitebuilder stopped working on my computer and was told to just use the sitebuilder plus online.  It takes literally 5 minutes just to get one picture loaded and takes up to an hour or more sometimes to get my site published, and never can get it to save:(  So frustrating since i have been using your services for 11 years now and have never had all these issues.

I would recommend removing the "." in the file name. As the error indicated, hyphens and underscores are the "symbols" that are allowed, but periods are not. I looked through your file manager and the times you have added a file with a period in the title all seem to be from 2017 or earlier and were probably all done from the desktop builder. We have definitely made changes since that and at this point, cannot accept a period in the file name.

In regard to the slowness, you do have an high number of files and pages. I would recommend doing some maintenance on your site and deleting any pages or files from your file manager you no longer need.

It does not make sense to me that publishing would take so long.  I have 1408 MB used of a total of 5120 available from what I can tell.  And, I only publish one page at a time, not my entire site, nor do I publish all files.  I never had any issues with the desktop version.  Plus, my site will never "save" a page, error code comes up every. single. time. :(

The builder you are using is an old program. You are sharing servers with other people trying to save their site and make changes. You have 84 pages and 11,500 files in your file manager. I would recommend deleting pages and images you are no longer using because the file manager is not meant for photo storage. It will become slower the more is stored on it because it loads down the server. You can try publishing directly from the file manager to see if that helps.
The only other thing I can recommend is rebuilding your site in our newer builder, Website Builder. It is a newer and faster system and would be a good opportunity to only build what you actually still need for your site.
