Unable to log into SB Desktop and custom forms errors

Hello,

We are currently aware of issues that are preventing customers to log into SiteBuilder Desktop saying their log in information is invalid. Also there is an issue with custom forms not sending emails and displaying server errors. Our developers are looking into this issue, and are working to resolve this as soon as possible.

We apologize for the inconvenience.

We have identified the issue, and it should be resolved. Forms should be working as normal, and should be able to log into SiteBuilder Desktop. Let us know if the issue persists.

Form submissions are not working...again. This is a big problem. Please fix ASAP. Hope it's not as bad or lasts as long as last time. Hope this isn't going to be a regular thing.

Unfortunately, I do not have an answer to this right now. I am trying to get caught up on the situation. I have been out since Monday. When we have more information, we will post it for you.

Sitebuilder is still down, day 2! :-(

The reason I am posting this message as a new one, is even though I
added my 2 cents to another message, in another thread, not once, but
twice yesterday, no one from Homestead bothered to respond to me or many
others who also posted, over the 6 hours this was going on yesterday!
:-(

When employee "Drew" responded to the last breakdown, he
did a wonderful job of always responding, if only to say, "sorry for
the inconvenience, the techs are working on this issue", but no one has
bothered to acknowledge us this time. :-(  
Only the original poster, who started the thread was acknowledged by William.

Early this morning 5-20-15 just after Midnight I was finally able to log into Sitebuilder, after not being able to log-in for 6 hours yesterday!

I was successful in altering my website, however I was unable to publish it! :-(
The first error message I saw, when this all started, is posted below, where I was unable to log into Sitebuilder.


After I was able to log-in, but unable to publish, this is the error message I saw below.


Now here it is 5-20 at 8:30 a.m. and I am back to not being able to log-in to Sitebuilder again, because of this error message below.


The good news is, I must now go to work and won't be back until later today, so hopefully the Homestead Techs will have this all figured out and have it all up and running again by the time I get back!

I never should have posted the Praise I posted a few weeks ago, to tell you all that Homestead  was working flawlessly, I jinxed the who thing! :-( ~LOL~

And I have already Published my page several times! Im losing business because my clients cannot submit forms

Unfortunately the past submissions were never sent through due to the error so the emails were never generated to be sent.

That sucks. Current ones aren't coming through email either. I can see them in the atrocity you guys call the form manager. If you guys can make that thing legible and user friendly, that could help a lot of people out when stuff like this happens. And it'd be nice if people's form submissions were just denied when they submitted then instead of them going through thinking we got them when we didn't. That would help too.

Are you able to try a different email address? If that doesn't work, try deleting and reading the submit button.

Unfortunately we need to use a certain email address and we do not have time to change all the submit buttons on our website as there are a lot. Is there anyway you can just fix it to go back to how it was functioning before?

The main issue with the forms has been fixed, so if you are still having issues, it is due to a different problem. I can help you troubleshoot and identify the problem.

Thank you that would be great. We can see forms in the form manager, but that is not user-friendly at all and we'd prefer them to be emailed to us. Is there anyway you guys can push those through? These forms seem to have been submitted after the post that says the issue has been resolved.

I got some, but so far it looks like there is at least one form in the Form Manager that has not been emailed. I am going through them all right now.

Lisa7116 Just log in to your account and under "Website Manager" there is an option that says "More" and if you click that it will give you an option that says "Manage Forms" and when you click that it will list all of your forms and you can view all of the ones that have been submitted. BUT you have to have that enabled on your actual form. If you are just having them sent to email then they won't be in there, but you can select an option on the actual form in Sitebuilder to email and save a form. The only problem is that the forms are horrible and not user-friendly at all. That's why email is so crucial because you can arrange it to come in any order that you like.

We are here every day. I apologize for the delay. The forms were having issues yesterday but were resolved about 5:00 pm central. The time stamp in the text logs should be military time central. Are the forms you did not receive before or after this time?

Yes. i am discovering that some forms are coming through and some are not. On one form I received approximately 4 of 5 that are in the manager. Here is a link to that specific form:

Do you know if you will be able to get these through on email? I need to know if I can get those in email which makes life a lot easier or if I have to take the painful route of using the form manager which takes a good portion of my day.

When you create your form, and you add your submit button choose the SUBMIT TO MY E-MAIL ADDRESS option and then make sure you put your e-mail below that you want it to go to.

Can you try adding a test page, putting a submit button and a form box, and see if that submits to your email?

I did and the test went to the form manager but no email. Not sure if it is related or not, but I had a customer trying to reply to my email earlier and it never came to me.

The form submissions are coming from Homestead, so if you are replying to reach the customer, that will not work. Did you get the test submission on the new page?

C'mon, give me a little more credit than that. I know they come from Homestead and I do not reply to them, but I do use the information from that email which is in a particular order that I put it in on the form. I've been doing this for years. I did not get the test. It came through on the Form Manager, but not on email.

Unfortunately there is not a way to push them from form manager to email. I will get in touch with our engineers and check the status of the emails being sent.

It looks like I got 1 of 3 forms emailed at:

So there are 3 forms in the Form Manager and only 1 of those got emailed. Hope the specifics help. Still worried that some didn't come through at all, even in the Form Manager. Too bad the Form Manager stinks because I would use that exclusively so I don't have to rely on the email version.

I now have access to Sitebuilder as of 5-20-15 7:00 p.m.
I logged in, made some changes and was able to publish my site!

Not at this time, but I would suggest that you set the button to submit to both email and text, then you would at least be able to retain the information from any submitted forms.
